Thank you for meeting with me
last week. I enjoyed visiting with all of you about your children, and am a
little sad as I realize my year with them will be over all too
soon!
We raised
$548.83 with our rainforest fund raiser! We will send the money to the Plant a Billion
Trees campaign sponsored through the Nature Conservancy. Your children made
posters to hang around the school, made announcements over the intercom each day
during the week to remind people, and then went around the school on that Friday to collect
the money from the teachers. We even received a wonderful compliment about how
polite and professional they were when they went in the rooms. We practiced
what they would say to the teachers before hand.:) We have a lot to be proud of
with these first graders and their efforts!
