Mrs. McCleskey: I spent most of my childhood in South Carolina and went to the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. I taught for two years in South Carolina before my husband and I moved to Colorado in 1997. I have been teaching a total of 15 years and this will be my eighth year teaching first grade at Bromley East. I have two children. Maggie will be in third grade this year and Zane will be in kindergarten. They both attend school in Louisville where I live. We also have two Golden Retrievers Trete and Ruby. My husband is a water chemist. We are all sailors and this summer my husband raced a sailboat from California to Hawaii. Our family met him there and enjoyed a wonderful vacation. We also visited Yellowstone National Park this summer. Maggie, Zane and I are in front of a geyser in my profile picture! I am excited about the upcoming school year and my new class!
